Camp Cocoa Animal C.A.R.E.
A 501(c)3 Non-Profit Animal Sanctuary
Woodstock Valley, Connecticut
Mission Statement
Camp Cocoa serves as refuge for all abandoned, neglected and abused animals. The sanctuary supports it's community through helping our neighbors, local shelters and rescues. Additionally, we extend help to other areas of great concern (other countries and southern states where animal abandonment is more common) with a focus on Southern high kill shelters.
Camp Cocoa assists with animal adoptions and serves as a lifelong home for animals unable to be adopted. We provide relief and aid to a variety of animals by fostering and funding veterinary care, and placing each animal in its forever, adoptive home when possible.
Camp Cocoa helps raise social awareness regarding animal welfare issues by developing and providing educational materials to the public. The sanctuary provides facts and statistics as well as other information related to ongoing efforts to help the animal population using our social media and website as well as in-person trainings.
